ROBOBOOM，赛事设置了基础直线循线挑战赛、大颗粒作品搭建赛、乐高WEDO搭建赛、乐高大颗粒搭建常规任务赛等赛项。针对低幼龄儿童学习和发展的特点，以团队挑战、团队配合、团队互动为核心，ROBOBOOM旨在为低幼龄儿童提供更全面、更有趣味的学习平台，以及发展锻炼科技素养的赛事平台。ROBOBOOM 以一年时间为一个比赛赛季。大赛将在全国若干城市设立全国巡回赛比赛站点，每个站点将根据各比赛项目的成绩，划分晋级全国赛的比赛名额。巡回赛允许不同省份跨区参赛。全国赛将在赛季末举行，作为本赛季的结束。
